World Bible School (“WBS”) recognizes privacy is important and joins you in respect to protecting it.

This Policy applies to all of the products, services and websites offered by World Bible School Inc. or its subsidiaries (collectively, World Bible School's "services").

This Policy addresses how WBS manages personal information collected and received. This includes but is not limited to the information gained upon enrollment and active participation with WBS as offered by the organization. Personal information which is "personally identifiable" (i.e., name, e-mail, postal address, and phone number) and information which is not otherwise publicly available are gathered and regarded as private. It is the policy of WBS not to share any information you provide upon enrolling in WBS to parties outside of the WBS organization.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of other organizations WBS does not own/control, or to people/organizations WBS does not employ or manage. The WBS services target audiences intended for a particular set of users who are seeking to increase and/or share Bible knowledge utilizing WBS courses, materials, tools and resources.

Information Collection and Use
WBS collects personal information when you enroll, request promotional materials, visit WBS pages, and/or enter into contractual agreements with WBS.

As you enroll, we request information including but not limited to your first and last name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, occupation, gender, marital status, congregation, personal Bible teaching experience, technical experience, etc. Upon submission of your enrollment application, you are not anonymous to WBS.

By submitting the WBS enrollment application, you voluntarily provide personal information. In keeping with standard Internet practices, WBS receives and logs information from your browser, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol address, and the pages you request to view on WBS servers.

WBS uses information about you for the minimum following purposes:

to improve the quality of services provided to you
to answer requests for products/services
to communicate with you
to customize promotions
to develop website content
to provide reports for WBS and WBS-interested individuals.

WBS collects and uses your personal information to operate, deliver and improve the services you have requested.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
WBS will never rent, sell, share, or exchange (see note below) any personal information about you with any other individual except to provide products/services you have requested, directly or indirectly outside of WBS associates. You provide WBS permission for the use of this information upon enrollment in WBS.

Your personal information may be shared with an individual or WBS Service Center attempting to perform the service of follow-up. These individuals may use the information to communicate with you. However, these individuals hold no right to share or use your information beyond the needs of fulfillment for a follow-up request or a WBS follow-up campaign, workshop or seminar.

WBS will act in response to subpoenas, court orders, and legal process to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. WBS may find it necessary to share information in order to prevent, investigate, or engage in legal action, those activities which are suspected to be of an illegal nature.

Due to the nature of the volunteer relationship fostered at WBS with WBS study helpers and WBS students communicating directly with one another, WBS Study helpers are required to share the minimum contact information with WBS students in an appropriate manner as stated in the WBS Terms of Service.

Information Updates
A person enrolled with WBS may change of his/her personal information at any time. As information changes, it is the responsibility of the individual to login to myWBS and update personal information listed in the user profile. WBS reserves the right to deactivate a study helper's account at any time without notice.

WBS Privacy Policy Changes
This policy may be updated or changed without notice.
